Non-Contact Speed Switch

OMEGA introduces the SSW201 Series non-contact speed switch. The SSW201 switch combines the function of a proximity switch with a timing network. The SSW201 features adjustable high or low speed setpoints. It also incorporates a power-up time delay that permits the detected object to accelerate to normal operating speed when the switch is used as a low alarm. The switch is in a non-conductive state below, and conducts above the predetermined setpoint. The SSW201 Series are offered in low and high frequency ranges.

SSW201 Series switches are ideal for motion control of rotating machinery. Their rugged construction also makes them suitable for use in dirty, humid, oily and dusty applications.
